⚠️ We are excited to announce we are an official sponsor for Colorado Z Fest 2026⚠️

We will be sponsoring the very first Colorado Z Fest, and will be bringing a few GRW Z cars up to Cripple Creek between July 22 through July 26.

We are looking forward to cruising up to Pikes Peak and the Royal Gorge Bridge with some Classic Z Cars.

We will be trailering/driving our Z cars all the way from Fort Worth Texas, so for anyone within the Dallas/Fort Worth area, or along the way that would like to cruise up with us, please send us a PM.

See the latest project car updates, as well as other general foolery at GRW for the first quarter of 2026, as we were prepping for Texas Z Fest. We took all extra time to allot to prepping our cars, and because of that, the monthly vlog ran behind for the beginning of this year.

Shoutout to Mr. Park for bringing in his sub 20k mile 370z Nismo in for some ECM software work.

We partnered with on this vehicle to make sure we took proper care of this customer.

The vehicle originally came in from Canada, was federalized for the US market, full bolt-ons, and an existing UpRev tune. Whoever tuned the vehicle did not account for emissions inspections in alternate markets, and it floated from dealer to dealer at auctions. Once Mr. Park got it, he converted all of the emissions components back to stock. That's when he reached out to us to see if we could flash the OEM firmware back onto the ECU.

We got with UpRev to make sure we were doing it correctly, as we wanted the potential capability of making minor adjustments given the mods that still existed on the vehicle, without having to charge him for another license. We were able to maintain the existing license on the vehicle, but flash everything completely back to OEM specifications, and re-activate the OEM emissions monitors.

Mr. Park was able to get the vehicle to pass all monitor tests, and subsequently get the vehicle inspected and registered here in Texas.

While we are primarily a Datsun and Nissan shop, several of our employees own BMWs, and we have a small percentage of clientele who bring their BMWs in for service and we strive to provide excellent service backed by a top-notch 1 year / 12,000 mile warranty.

We performed the standard 60,000 Mile ZF 8HP Transmission Fluid Service with an OEM Pan. The filter is integrated into the pan on these transmissions, so it is imperative that you replace them to extend the life of your ZF 8HP. Regardless of what dealers will tell you, these have a service interval of 60,000 miles, and if you don't want your BMW to adhere to the stereotype of being unreliable, you need to service it on schedule.

Shoutout to Mr. Olivares for bringing us his New Nissan Z for a Tomei Single exit exhaust install.

We finally got to get underneath a new Z over here at GRW, and we're excited to branch further out into this platform as the market allows.

Mr. Olivares brought his Z in for a Tomei single exit exhaust, combining both banks into an extended Y-pipe, and nice single exit design, blending the exhaust note into a perfect sound.

Some of the VR exhausts out there honestly do not sound that great, but this Tomei single exit is an exception.

⚠️ NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT ⚠️

We are happy to announce our partnership with ePowerSteering to bring more awesome product offerings to the Datsun market.

We recently installed an ePowerSteering system in our Development 280zx Turbo build, and it makes all the difference. We are already very big proponents of electric power steering conversions in the S30 chassis, but this particular application required as much help as we could get.

This 280zx features a full Apex Engineered front and rear suspension setup, with a de-powered rack, and quick knuckles. This makes the car quite a chore to drive, and ePowerSteering was the perfect solution for it.

We now offer ePowerSteering kits for purchase directly on our website, and will soon be releasing 3d Printed panels that fit their respective chassis for the adjustment k**b.

Shoutout to for trusting us with his Turbo LSX Swapped Fox Body build.

We have been slowly fabricating carry out pieces for this build over the last year or so, and we finally had the opportunity to work on it in person.

We fabricated a charge pipe from the turbo to the intake manifold, finished up some of the last minute exhaust work, and did the finish welding to tie in the front bash bar into the unibody frame.

We got a small preview of how well this vehicle is going to run and it will be a beast!

We are a full fabrication shop along with being Datsun experts. The Datsun market has equipped us with a unique set of skills when it comes to thinking outside of the box, as well as sheer fabrication experience, just due to the gross lack of available bolt on options in the existing market.

That means you get to be the beneficiary when you bring your project car to GRW. We are able to tap a wide array of resources, from laser cutting, laser engraving, CNC machining and more, we are able to handle any size project, whether it is a simple downpipe fabrication, or a complete engine bay plumbing job with custom parts and a honed attention to detail.

We work with stainless steel, mild steel, tube, stamped, and cast aluminum, cast iron, and cast steel, and are able to powdercoat in-house as well to make your visit with GRW a truly one stop shop.
