Our office will be closed on Friday, September 8th to celebrate the life of Shane Kever. Shane's father-in-law, mother-in-law, wife, son and brother-in-law work at Safeway. Shane was responsible for the remodel of our lobby. He was truly a great man who would help anyone. Please pray for the Safeway family as we are grieving the loss of such a special man. 😢

After 50 hardworking years, today was Mrs. B last day. She has put her heart and soul into Safeway Driving School. She taught so many students over the years to become safe drivers. She began at Safeway behind the desk, scheduling students. Then she became a driving instructor. She was a driving instructor for many years and finally was kinda forced into, teaching class. As her son, I remembered she dreaded that day. She was so much more comfortable teaching in car lessons. She thought she would be terrible at it, but she wasn't. She was a natural at it. She went onto to teach class for another 12 years, while also running the business. That is not an easy task. So here it is to Mrs. B or as I call her, My Mom! Enjoy your retirement!!!! It is beyond well deserved!!!

This is why we do not take for granted that everyone will stop at a stop sign. We know it can frustrate drivers that are behind us, but we will always have the student make sure the other roadway users will stop.

Due to the Winter Storm warning for Wednesday, January 25th, our office will be closed. All students who have lessons have either been contacted directly, or we have left messages canceling the lessons. If you have to drive tomorrow, please be safe. Allow more following distance between you and vehicle ahead of you. Coast sooner before you go to the brake. Drive the speed that the conditions allow. Winter weather does not cause collisions, the inability to change your driving habits, do.
