One of the most important lubricant properties is also one of the easiest to overlook: viscosity.

➡️ Too thin, and equipment may not receive adequate protection.

➡️ Too thick, and efficiency can suffer due to increased friction, energy consumption, and heat generation.

Selecting the proper viscosity is one of the most fundamental decisions in any lubrication program. Sometimes the biggest gains come from getting the fundamentals right.
