Blue Bird Manufacturing in Fort Valley is actively and urgently hiring full-time for the following position:

Automotive Mechanics (Red Dot). Must have experience with general automotive repair and maintenance including diagnostic, and troubleshooting for Afternoon Shift/Evening Shift.

This position does not require formal training or professional experience as excessive ‘shade tree or garage’ experience may suffice.

Blue Bird Manufacturing in Fort Valley is looking to fill a fabrication position.

Starting pay, if selected, starts at $18/hr with raises at 90 days, 6, 12, 24 & 36 months.

Normally, we require an experienced candidate but we have a couple openings and the hiring managers will review applications and select those we feel have the propensity to learn the position quickly and perform exceptionally well.

*Looking for someone who can lift/move/steady up to 50 pounds.
*Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions/movements.
*Willingness/abiliy to work overtime.
*Reliable transportation.
*Familiarity or basic knowledge of tools, basic machinery, some blueprint/diagram understanding, basic math, basic computer skills.
*Have evidence of a consistent work history (if you have a solid employment history but are currently unemployed, please apply).

This position is in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.

Must possess a DL, SSAN and HS/GED. Must complete and pass a physical, drug screen and background check.

Blue Bird Manufacturing in Fort Valley, GA is interviewing qualified WELDERS for WEEKEND SHIFT, NIGHT SHIFT AND DAY SHIFT.

WELDER- $23 to start (Night and Weekend Shift) with pay increase at 90 days, 6, 12, 24, & 36 months ($26.50 at 36 months) with good performance and attendance. $22 for Day Shift with same pay raise schedule.

Must be either certified, OR have a diploma/certificate in welding OR at least 1 year experience with STICK and MIG welding.

Ideal candidate has previously operated a spot welding machine or similar type of equipment.

ENTRY LEVEL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience or education in lieu of experience. Pay depends on experience.
