✅ IMMEDIATE STEPS AT THE SCENE
1. Stay Calm & Safe
• Move your vehicle to a safe location if possible.
• Turn on hazard lights.
2. Check for Injuries
• Call 911 immediately if anyone is hurt.
3. Call the Police
• Always file an official report, even for minor accidents.
4. Document Everything
• Take photos of:
• All vehicles
• License plates
• Damage
• Road conditions
• Injuries (if any)
5. Exchange Information
• Other driver’s name, phone number
• Insurance company & policy number
• License plate & driver’s license
• Vehicle make/model/color
6. Get Witness Info
• Ask for names and contact numbers of any witnesses.
7. Don’t Admit Fault
• Stick to the facts and let the professionals sort it out.
