HUDSON O’NEAL STRIKES GOLD! 41ST CAREER LUCAS OIL LATE MODEL DIRT SERIES WIN!

Hudson O’Neal is heading into the Dirt Track World Championship with momentum on his side! The Martinsville, Indiana, standout charged to victory Saturday night at West Virginia Motor Speedway, winning the second 25-lap preliminary feature of the 46th Annual ARP Dirt Track World Championship weekend.

Starting alongside pole sitter Jonathan Davenport, O’Neal patiently tracked down the leader before making his winning move on Lap 16. Once out front, he pulled away to secure the victory by 2.213 seconds in the SSI Motorsports No. 71 Longhorn Chassis!

The win marked O’Neal’s 41st career Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory, breaking his tie with four-time series champion Earl Pearson Jr. for seventh on the all-time wins list.

Brandon Sheppard finished third behind Davenport, with Josh Rice and Dan Ebert completing the top five.

After being eliminated from championship contention the previous weekend, O’Neal and his team have shifted their focus toward chasing one of dirt late model racing’s biggest prizes — the $100,000 Dirt Track World Championship!

Now, O’Neal will start alongside Ricky Thornton Jr. on the front row for Sunday's 100-lap crown-jewel event.

Can Hudson O’Neal turn Saturday night’s momentum into a career-defining Dirt Track World Championship victory?
