This was our first official day in Quito. We headed to the historical center of town and accidental did something called the 7 Cross Tour from one of the tour books. I really wish I could share images from the inside of the churches but I really am one of those people that respect the No Photographic image signs when artwork is involved. These churches are a thing of beauty.. If you get a chance you should look up images of La Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús (The Church of the Society of Jesus or La Compañía) which is a Jesuit church in the historic center of Quito and is made of gold on the inside. It was insane.
