It’s been a long time since my last posting but I’ve been very busy.
Story about this customer’s genesis
A Customer from WV took the car to a “performance shop” for upgrades and parts installation, after few months of the car being at that shop the customer decided to get the car back from that shop and bring it to me in VA (6 hours away). Well the car was delivered on a tow truck and it didn’t start, so before trying to work on it I decided to do a complete inspection of the condition of the car to notify the customer for his approval. Well I’m glad I did that because I found a lot of stuff missing like fuel lines not going to the pump, bunch of sensors disconnected, oil and coolant leaks, vacuum lines missing, bolts and nuts missing, parts that the other shop was supposed to installed but they were in the trunk, parts installed wrong, cross threaded holes, etc.
I notified the customer and he was in shock so he gave me the green light to start working on it. After fixing, installing and swapping parts the car started, just to find out the turbo was bad, later found out the haltech ecu was also bad. Finally I got the turbo rebuilt and haltech fixed in Australia 🇦🇺. Did so much work on this genesis but at the end was worth it. The customer’s face after that little street pull (in Mexico 🇲🇽) was priceless.
Will not post his complete build but the car is a 500+whp 2.0 liter 4 cylinder beast. And can touch the 600whp with few minor upgrades.
