SNAPPED AXLE. DAMAGED HANGERS. TIME FOR A REBUILD.

This trailer took a hard hit that bent and snapped the axle and damaged the spring hangers.We cut out the damaged hangers, welded new hangers to the chassis, installed the new axle and suspension hardware, serviced the hubs, installed new adjustable electric brakes, and checked the electrical system.

We finished the job with an annual trailer inspection before returning it to the customer.

From Rusted Out to Road Ready!

This boat trailer came into Dixie Trailer with some serious rust and wear underneath so we gave it a major overhaul.

⚙️ Replaced both axles
🔩 Installed all-new hub kits
🛠️ Replaced the leaf springs
⚖️ Installed a new equalizer & suspension components
🔥 Heavy rust had seized several components so badly that we had to cut them out just to remove them.

Once everything old and rusted was removed, we rebuilt the running gear with new components from the ground up.

The difference is huge what came in looking heavily worn and corroded left our shop with a completely refreshed suspension, axles, and hubs, ready to get back on the road and back to the water.

Built Stronger for Heavy Loads!

Our customer noticed the trailer floor starting to bend under heavy loads and came to us looking for a stronger, long term solution.

We reinforced the underside of the trailer with additional steel support members, adding extra structural strength where it was needed most.

Now the trailer has better support against flexing and bending when carrying heavy loads stronger, reinforced, and ready to work!

Our customer was getting ready for a long-distance trip and asked us to perform a complete trailer safety inspection before hitting the road.
