Twisting the throttle on a Rocket 3 unleashes an explosive 225 Nm of torque from the 2,458cc triple engine – the world’s largest production motorcycle engine. Riding experiences don’t get more exhilarating than that. 🔥
What makes the Storm R special
The headline is obviously the 2,458 cc three-cylinder. It produces an enormous 166 lb-ft of torque at only 4,000 rpm, so the Rocket doesn't need high revs to deliver its performance. Triumph says the Storm gained 15 PS over the previous Rocket 3 R, along with increased torque.
The R is the sportier version of the Storm. Compared with the GT, it has mid-mounted foot controls and a roadster-style riding position. The chassis uses a lightweight aluminum frame, fully adjustable Showa suspension, and Brembo Stylema brakes with cornering ABS.
