Sometimes the biggest recoveries don't require the biggest truck. They require the right operator.
Last weekend, our team was called to Highway 14 in Poudre Canyon after a van ended up hanging on the edge of the riverbank with only inches keeping it from going into the water.
Thanks to the quick actions of law enforcement, fire personnel, and other first responders, the scene was stabilized and the driver was safely removed. Once the situation was secure, our operator carefully assessed the recovery, developed a plan, and successfully brought the vehicle back onto the roadway using one of our flatbeds.
In an industry where people often assume every difficult recovery requires a rotator, situations like this are a reminder that experience, proper rigging, patience, and problem-solving are just as important as the equipment itself.
