It’s been a while since posting we have been busy. Here is yet another failure caught right on time. We performed a heater grid update on another Cummins and this one was miles away from failing and killing an engine. All Ram 6.7 owners need this fixed. This is one of two we did last week.

There’s something satisfying about watching an engine come back together piece by piece.

Here are a few shots from the assembly process on an engine we recently rebuilt in-house. From careful inspection and measurements to final assembly, every step matters. A rebuild isn’t just about replacing damaged parts—it’s about making sure everything is clean, measured, torqued, and assembled correctly so it’s ready to go back to work.

Engine problems don’t always mean you need to replace the entire engine. Depending on the failure and condition of the components, an in-house rebuild can be a great option.

💥 CP3 CARNAGE — AND IT STILL RAN! 💥

This Dodge 5.9 Cummins came in with a massive fuel leak, and once we tracked it down, we found a failure you definitely don’t see every day.

The CP3 high-pressure fuel pump internally came apart and actually blew the freeze plugs out of the pump, allowing fuel to pour out.

The crazy part? The truck STILL RAN! 😳

A CP3 is responsible for supplying the high-pressure fuel the common-rail injection system needs to operate. When something goes wrong internally, the results can get interesting fast—and this one definitely made a mess.

We’ll be replacing the failed CP3 and making sure the rest of the fuel system checks out before this 5.9 goes back on the road.

Just another reminder: a running truck doesn’t always mean a healthy truck.
