Troy’s cutlass is officially ready to become one color again.

Installed some new EKR fiberglass doors, nothing beats a good fitting mold, these doors fit great and gave a factory window position which allowed us to get the lexan fitment to the factory door seal pretty much as good as a brand new cutlass can have.

We take extreme pride in body and panel fitment, as it’s the first things you see when you look at a racecar from the outside looking in. Even body gaps, perfectly flowing body lines, and zero lexan gaps or waves, we made sure this thing went together perfect.

Once all that was done we got the new and improved turbo mounted, with a little bit of charge pipe make over, everything went back together smooth.

It’s headed north for some fresh color, and then it’s party time!

Had Preston’s 4th gen back in for the next round of updates. Finished up some sheet metal patches on the floor and firewall, trimmed and fit front and rear lexan, and installed a Kostic carbon roof.

Got column situated and mounted the brake and throttle pedals, and whipped up a parachute release.

Soon to be headed to the wiring stage, we are excited to get Preston going fast again!

Throwback Thursday!

Our great friend and customer Brandon Kersey brought Sonic over to convert from twins to a single GT55 to fit in the small block boost class when twins weren’t allowed. Was a really cool conversion and they were able to make it go pretty dang fast.

Hands down one of our favorite cars we get to work on from time to time. It currently sits in twin turbo form, they have been racing some other cars, but hope to see the ol girl back out soon!

We recently made some changes to the 4 link on our shop car, the housing has always been cheated forward of center just a tad, so we brought the housing back a little farther than center to allow more tire clearance from the inner quarter panel when the suspension is at full travel. However, in doing so, it pulled our yoke out of the trans a bit more than we’d like to, and didn’t want to have to get into a new drive shaft.

Mike over at Quick Performance had the solution, this 1” extended billet yoke!
Extremely nice piece, and fixed us up perfect,!

Jeremy’s new small tire/ASAG ride is juuuust about ready to hit the track. We got this thing in pretty rough shape, blown up, rats nest of wiring, lots of issues from mechanical to cosmetic. Over the last month and a half we rebuilt at least 80% of the truck and it really came together.

Our good buddy Roy came over and we gutted the truck, mounted some equipment and he got busy, rewiring the truck front to back in an insanely short period of time.

Got the blown up motor out and down to our great friends at Morgan and Son Racing Engines, they did a lighting fast turn around on the block, Ferry’s got the gears freshened back up and we got ourselves a fresh motor back together and back in the truck.

We made some updates to the chassis, got it certified 25.1 6.0, then we moved to cleaning up the turbo kit, installed a Harts Turbo 122mm, redid the wastegate sections and new charge pipe, of course we had to give it some flare. New burndown tank, rehung front clip, mounted new hood, and some carbon paneling.

Got chassis/suspension moved around and got it on the dyno for some wastegate shake downs and getting the Holley reconfigured to our likings. 1000whp on 7-8lbs for some easy break in hits, started noticing some oil pressure inconsistencies and unfortunately cut us short.

We got motor back out and doing some diagnosis to get it fixed before we let it eat 2800whp worth. Really excited to get to the track with this thing!
