Just a heads up. Insurance Company's are now asking customers to have their damaged Cars towed to a location of their choosing, usually Copart or IAA, These are the companies that sell cars that are not fixable.
I would recommend we not let them take your car. It's your car and you the rite to have it towed to the shop of your choice. Or to your own home.
We have run into this a few times now, once they have your car you lose some bargaining power, or so it seems.
We have a customer who allowed their Ins. company to take their GMC to their Lot. Then in my opinion completely disrespected him with a low ball offer. Had the car been brought to our shop, he may have had some bargaining options.
Hopefully you all don't run into this situation. however we do meet by accident. Good day. A.B.T.
