Got another rare one going. This one is an American Bosch NU4. The magneto does not have a distributor cap. It has a double collector ring and a double leadout tower on both sides, It has a 2 spark coil that send spark to alternate towers on either side at the same time. It runs a 4 cylinder engine.

Just finished the complete restoration of this Eisemann GS-4 magneto for a good friend and customer of mine . It came in a couple months ago as a “kit" A box full of parts! Been picking away at it for a while now but it’s finally done. Lots of new parts along with some from donor mags, this thing is working perfectly!

So here is a very rare magneto! It's an American Bosch B-6. I don't get very many of these come through the shop. They are not easy magnetos to work on. The drive end has a worm gear that rotates a small distributor cap with 6 leads. Timing is critical. This one came in not working, needing a new coil and condenser, recharged the magnets, New coil wire and lots of attention. Here is the result!

Finished a very scarce 5 magnet KW highbar magneto that goes on a 1912 Reeves 40 tractor. Original but cleaned up and got a rewound coil, condenser and replaced worn out parts with good take-off parts. Magnets recharged, tested and works perfectly!

Restored a couple rare Splitdorf magnetos. A 246C open impulse off a JD Spoker D and an Edison CD off a styled JD-D.
