Today, we officially closed one chapter and opened another.
Nine years ago, we purchased the E&H Honda property to help preserve a family legacy and secure Creative Motorsports' first standalone location. Today, we closed on those properties, marking the first time since 1981 that an Epley family member has not owned the business property on M.D. Blanton Circle.
When the franchise was sold outside of the family, we made the decision that it was time to move on from our location. While it is bittersweet, we are thankful for the role we were given in carrying the E&H Honda legacy forward for as long as possible.
At the same time, this transition creates an exciting new opportunity for Creative Motorsports.
Many of you know that our co-owner, Kimberly, grew up in the automotive industry. Since the passing of her father several years ago, the property at 417 S. Broadway Street in Forest City, her fatherās former business location, was no longer being utilized. After many prayers, countless conversations, and plenty of sweat and tears, we are excited to announce that Creative Motorsports is relocating to the former Mike's Auto Sales building across from NAPA on S. Broadway St. in Forest City.
Coming full circle doesn't happen often in life, and we are humbled to have the opportunity to breathe new life into a place that Kimberly's parents and brother called home for many years.
We have a lot of work ahead of us as we renovate, reorganize, and make the new space our own. We appreciate your patience during this transition and ask that you bear with us through a few growing pains along the way.
The good news? We're open, we're ready to serve you, and we're excited about what the future holds.
