Not every dyno session is about chasing big horsepower numbers.

Today we had a GMT800 on the rollers for something just as important. A transmission calibration and engine tune designed to improve drivability, reliability, and transmission longevity, with some added performance gains.

These trucks are known for going the distance, but the factory calibrations can leave a lot on the table when it comes to shift quality and transmission protection. With a custom tune, we were able to clean up the shifting, improve throttle response, and help give this transmission the best chance at a long life.

A good tune isn’t always about making more power—sometimes it’s about keeping your truck on the road for years to come.
