Does your RV air conditioner really need to be replaced?

A customer staying at Gulf State Park-Alabama Campground contacted us because their Coleman Mach air conditioner was dripping water inside the RV and the compressor would not shut off.

After diagnosing the system, Michael found a failed control board and extremely dirty evaporator coils. The coils were thoroughly cleaned, the AC control box was replaced, and the system was tested under load.

The result? This 13-year-old Coleman Mach air conditioner is back to cooling like a champ and drawing just 10.8 amps—excellent performance for a unit of this age.

Not every RV air conditioner needs replacement. Sometimes proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance can restore performance and add years of life to an existing system.

Another happy customer in Orange Beach!

Michael recently replaced a failed GE rooftop RV air conditioner at Sun Outdoors Orange Beach RV Resort. Because the older system wasn't compatible with newer refrigerant technology, the entire cooling system had to be upgraded, including the thermostat and interior components.

The customer is now staying cool with a new GE Deluxe Plus 15,000 BTU air conditioner and left Michael a glowing five-star review after the job was completed.
