☀️ Vacation saved!

Imagine arriving in Orange Beach, getting your camper set up, and discovering the air conditioner isn't working.

That's exactly what happened to Abby and her family.

We worked directly with GE Appliances to coordinate the warranty replacement, arranged for a new unit to be delivered the very next day, completed the installation, and handled the warranty paperwork so they could get back to enjoying their vacation as quickly as possible.

Receiving reviews like this reminds us why we do what we do:

"They contacted GE and got us a new unit the next day... Absolutely amazing service. Highly recommend."

Spotted yesterday at Gulf State Park! 👀

We had to stop for a photo on our way out of Gulf State Park-Alabama yesterday and had to look this one up! They're one of the rarest RVs on the road. It's a Scamp 19' fifth wheel. The Scamp combines lightweight molded fiberglass construction, excellent towing, a permanent bed, and legendary durability in one of the smallest fifth wheels ever built.

Have you ever seen one or camped in one?

Our customers in Gulf Shores RV Resort needed a second AC, so we installed one in their bedroom. Their single ducted A/C worked well while they were living in Alaska, but South Alabama's summer heat was a different story!

We removed the roof vent over the bed and installed a new Coleman rooftop air conditioner, giving them dedicated cooling in the bedroom. Now they'll sleep comfortably without asking the front A/C to cool the entire coach by itself.

Sometimes adding a second A/C isn't about luxury—it's about making your RV comfortable enough to truly enjoy where you live or vacation.

If your RV struggles to keep up with the Alabama heat, we'd be happy to help you explore your options.

Does your RV air conditioner really need to be replaced?

A customer staying at Gulf State Park-Alabama Campground contacted us because their Coleman Mach air conditioner was dripping water inside the RV and the compressor would not shut off.

After diagnosing the system, Michael found a failed control board and extremely dirty evaporator coils. The coils were thoroughly cleaned, the AC control box was replaced, and the system was tested under load.

The result? This 13-year-old Coleman Mach air conditioner is back to cooling like a champ and drawing just 10.8 amps—excellent performance for a unit of this age.

Not every RV air conditioner needs replacement. Sometimes proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance can restore performance and add years of life to an existing system.

If your RV air conditioner is leaking, running constantly, freezing up, or not cooling properly, give us a call. We proudly serve RV owners throughout Foley, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and the surrounding Gulf Coast area.

Another happy customer in Orange Beach!

Michael recently replaced a failed GE rooftop RV air conditioner at Sun Outdoors Orange Beach RV Resort. Because the older system wasn't compatible with newer refrigerant technology, the entire cooling system had to be upgraded, including the thermostat and interior components.

The customer is now staying cool with a new GE Deluxe Plus 15,000 BTU air conditioner and left Michael a glowing five-star review after the job was completed.

Thank you for trusting Certified RV DotCom with your RV repair needs!
