It's , and we're taking a trip down memory lane to where it all began for CBA.

In 1981, Mark Carr was working as a graphic arts salesman for a photographic mural company. He had just moved to Houston from upstate New York and was finding success in his role, but he was restless. He felt like he was built to be doing something different.

One night, feeling particularly discontent, Mark prayed and asked God to provide him a business. The very next day, while Mark was attending a Sunday school function through Spring Branch Bible Church, a gentleman from his class walked up, said that he was an automotive technician, and asked Mark to help him start an automotive repair shop.

The two men didn’t know what to call their new venture. They were encouraged by their Sunday school class to call it Christian Brothers Automotive, as they were two brothers in Christ. So, in August 1982, Mark Carr and his partner opened a complete automotive repair facility in Mission Bend, Texas, a suburb of Houston, and founded Christian Brothers Automotive Corporation (CBAC).

It's one of our favorite days of the year: !

Recently, the CBA team in Brownsburg came together to help a single mom in need of a helping hand.

When she arrived to have her vehicle's underbelly inspected, her technician found a large hole had completely rusted through her subframe. When the team shared these findings, she broke down in tears. Recently divorced and working at a nearby daycare center, she didn't know where to turn because money was tight and she relied on her vehicle to get to and from work.

The team jumped into action, replacing her subframe at no cost, along with her steering pump, hoses, brake rotors and pads. The team also completed a brake fluid flush and fresh oil change before aligning the vehicle to OEM standards and presenting it back to her.

Loving our neighbor means showing up for the members of our community, using our time, talent and treasure to support them as they've supported us.

Being a is a core component of who we are. Earlier this Spring, the team in East Cobb, Georgia received this heartfelt thank you note from a guest, illustrating that putting people first goes a long way.

I wanted to thank Christian Brothers Automotive for having programs to help people as they help themselves. To be the beneficiary of such generosity in a significantly discounted major repair(s) is something that I will recall through life, especially as I drive this car around Florida. God’s blessing through your organization will serve as a reminder for me to be humble, generous, and loving just as you have shown to me. Thank you to Ryan Jackson owner and manager of CBA in Marietta for seeing the Lord in my story and blessing me tremendously.

Hey friends, meet Brian!

Brian is our Service Advisor / Service Manager in Training. He has been at CBA in Flower Mound since 2024. Using his knowledge of automotive experience (service advising and fixing cars as a technician), Brian is able to communicate very effectively with our guests to ensure they are educated properly on their vehicle.

In addition to the Service Advisor role, Brian is also training to become our next Service Manager. He has attended several training courses at our Support Center and Mastering the Difference conferences held annually. Brian's plan and growth path is to be a franchisee with Christian Brothers Automotive. We could not be more excited to watch him continue growing and gaining what it takes to have his own shop! Our current owner, Lance, has taken Brian under his wing as Lance has grown from Service Advisor to owner of the shop. Brian is in a great position!

Brian is very well respected by his peers and loves to keep team morale high by sending a Morning Motivation message everyday to the entire team. He is a technology guru and great content creator (also very funny). Brian loves his family, Jesus, and chips & queso.

We are VERY Blessed to have Brian in the CBA Family serving the Flower Mound community. Show him some love!

Say HELLO to Austen!

Austen is one of our technicians who can diagnose and repair almost anything. He has been with CBA for over 12 years and most of them have been here in Flower Mound. Austen is very loyal to the brand, an ASE certified technician, an alignment wizard (he's been to "alignment school", YES that is a real thing) and is crazy passionate about fixing cars!

Starting out as a general service technician years ago (performing oil changes, state inspections, tire rotations and more), he trained under our Shop Foreman, Oscar, and has become one of the most productive technicians in the company. In fact, Austen has been awarded several times at CBA annual conventions for his high efficiency in the shop. Each year, his goal is to always produce more that year than the year prior.

Austen is truly a great man and enjoys spending time with his beautiful family. He often volunteers to pray for our team in our Tuesday morning meetings. 💚

We call him the Vacuum Cleaner/Energizer Bunny/Tazmania.
He does not know slow.

Say Hello to Kerry!

Kerry is one of our Guest Service Specialists and our Parts Manager. This Friday will be his 2 year anniversary with CBA Flower Mound!
He started with ZERO automotive service experience and has flourished in his wealth of automotive knowledge.

You will be warmly greeted by Kerry when calling to schedule an appointment and he will be the first one you see when checking in to our lobby. Recently, he has taken on the role of our Parts Manager and is an incredible resource for keeping the team's projects moving in a timely fashion.

Kerry LOVES building a good relationship with our guests and vendors and is highly respected by everyone. He is extremely disciplined, which we are quite certain carried over from his time in the military. Thank you for your service to our country and the Flower Mound community, Kerry!

Meet Oscar, our Shop Foreman. Oscar keeps the shop flowing by ensuring our technicians are properly trained and able to perform their duties. He has been with CBA in Flower Mound for 16 years and is a major asset to our team.

Oscar is a UTI graduate, former Saab technician, and enjoys teaching aspiring technicians about the industry. He is a very special person as he constantly looks for opportunities to make everyone around him better.

Oscar is thorough in his craft, always strives for perfection, and has even had some of our guests name their personal cars after him!
So cool!
