Today was a powerful reminder of how quickly things can change on the road.

This morning, our crew was working an accident recovery on State Highway 195, where a truck had become stuck on a pole of the cable barrier in the median. As our crew was completing the final cleanup, they witnessed a severe secondary accident involving an SUV rollover.

We are incredibly proud of how our crew responded. With one Texas DPS State Trooper still on scene, our crew and the Trooper immediately moved to the secondary crash. Our tow truck was positioned to help block and protect the scene from approaching traffic while our crew members jumped into action, assisting the Trooper with first aid until fire and EMS arrived.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to all the bystanders who stopped to help, the Texas DPS State Trooper for his quick action, Williamson County ESD #7, Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, and Williamson County EMS for their rapid response.

Accidents can happen in a matter of seconds. Please slow down, stay alert, and give emergency crews plenty of room to work. We’re proud to have a team that is always ready to step up and help when it matters most.
