On Thursday, most of the City of Andalusia team who erected the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall were treated to lunch at David's Catfish by the Covington Veterans Foundation, arranged by Mr. John Vick. We were missing a few, but those who could make it enjoyed the lunch. This group works hard every day to make our city look its best, and they are appreciated!

Ron has his crawler and M41 RC boat at the track today. Nice job on the custom trailer he made. Probaby see some drones out tomorrow.

Good news folks. Our dirt oval track is in. It’s about 150 feet from the original track on the other side of main street toward the Depot Restaurant (fantastic food by the way). Feel free to come try it out for free as we add the finishing touches. This track is great if you are starting out. For the two wheel drivers the drifting is great.

Keeping with my goal of adding new entertainment down town we are going to put a crawler track on the infield of the oval. Both tracks can operate simultaneously. RC vehicles are an all round good clean activity for all ages.

Florala is the only place were the historic past hosts the high tech present inside the same walls. Who knows what the future brings. As usual I’m working on that too. Come on out and have some fun.

Save the date..... June 26, 2021. In conjunction with the 151st Masonic Celebration in Florala Alabama we will have RC car and truck races at the track downtown. Everyone’s invited to race regardless of your experience level. It’s about fun and friendly completion. We will have activites at the track the entire week leading up to race day.
