Applegate Chevrolet was founded in 1928 by Clyde Applegate and is now run by the third generation of Applegates, Susan Applegate. The dealership has been in its current location at 3637 South Saginaw Street in Flint, Michigan since 1950. The classic “Baseball, Hot Dogs, Applegate and Chevrolet” jingle, well-known among Flint residents, was based off of Chevrolet’s own advertising jingle from the 1
970s. Today, vintage photographs and classic advertisements displayed around the dealership attest to Applegate Chevrolet’s long history of serving the Flint and Grand Blanc communities. The cars we sell and service have changed, but our commitment to provide quality customer service is still the same.
