🚨 OVER 8 INCHES OF WATER INSIDE THIS AUDI! 💦🔧
Another interesting repair at Flemington Repair Center!
This 2017 Audi Q5 was towed into our shop after the customer discovered the battery was completely dead. What started out looking like a simple battery replacement quickly turned into a much bigger job!
🔍 HERE'S WHAT WE FOUND:
During our inspection, we discovered that the vehicle still had its original battery. But that wasn't the biggest surprise!
When we opened the rear compartment where the spare tire is located, we found OVER 8 INCHES OF STANDING WATER! 😳💦
After further diagnosis, we traced the problem to faulty rear sunroof drains that allowed water to collect inside the vehicle. Unfortunately, the water had completely submerged the comfort control module, an important electronic component responsible for several of the vehicle's functions.
🔧 TOMORROW'S GAME PLAN:
✅ Replace the water-damaged comfort control module.
✅ Replace the faulty sunroof drains to prevent the problem from happening again.
✅ Remove the accumulated water and thoroughly dry out the affected interior compartments.
✅ Program the replacement module and verify proper operation of the vehicle's electronic systems.
✅ Get this Audi back on the road!
💡 DID YOU KNOW?
A clogged or faulty sunroof drain can cause thousands of dollars in electrical damage without you even realizing water is entering your vehicle. Many modern vehicles have sensitive electronic modules hidden beneath the carpeting or inside rear storage compartments.
At Flemington Repair Center, we don't just replace the obvious part. We find the ROOT CAUSE of the problem! 💪
Whether it's a dead battery, an electrical nightmare, or a major engine repair, we're ready to tackle the job!

🔧 ANOTHER BIG JOB AT FLEMINGTON REPAIR CENTER! 💪
When a grinding noise turns into an engine removal!
This customer brought their vehicle in with a grinding noise every time they tried to start it. After diagnosing the issue, we discovered that the teeth on the torque converter were severely worn down, causing the starter to grind instead of properly engaging.
With the vehicle's age and mileage, we had a big decision to make. We could either drop the suspension and remove additional components to access the torque converter, or pull the engine.
We chose to pull the engine! 🔧
This allowed us to access the damaged components without unnecessarily disturbing the aging suspension. Sometimes the safest way to do a repair isn't necessarily the easiest-looking way.
✅ Engine removed
✅ Damaged torque converter replaced
✅ Vehicle expected to be back up and running tomorrow!
At Flemington Repair Center, we don't just replace parts. We take the time to evaluate each vehicle and determine the safest, most practical way to get the job done right.
From routine maintenance to major engine repairs, we've got you covered!

🚨 WHEN YOUR DASHBOARD GOES CRAZY… WHERE DO YOU EVEN START? 🤔🔧

We had a 2007 Chevy Avalanche come into the shop with a very unusual electrical problem. The customer reported no interior power, no power windows, and all of the dashboard gauges had randomly stopped working. To make matters worse… the vehicle wouldn’t even start! 😳

The ONLY thing inside the vehicle that still worked was the sunroof! 😂

Our first step was to connect our state-of-the-art diagnostic scanner and see what the vehicle was telling us. When we pulled the codes, we found nearly 50 diagnostic trouble codes! 🤯

With that many codes, it would be easy to start replacing parts and hoping for the best—but that’s not how proper diagnostics work.

One code in particular caught our attention: NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE AIR BAG MODULE.

We knew the air bag module was located under the seat, so we went straight there for a visual inspection. Sure enough, we found the module had been exposed to water, resulting in significant corrosion. 💧⚡

That one failed module was causing communication problems throughout the vehicle and creating a domino effect of electrical issues.

We replaced the air bag module, programmed it to the vehicle, cleared the codes, and performed a complete system check. Once everything was verified, the Avalanche was back up and running—and another happy customer hit the road! 🚙💨

👇 NOW WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Have you ever had a vehicle with dozens of warning lights or diagnostic codes and thought, “Where do you even start?” 😂
