It’s a quick watch, and it’s just one of the practical industry topics covered in the Work Truck Fundamentals series.

Regulatory changes can have real implications for articulating crane manufacturers — and for the customers who own and operate their equipment.

NTEA’s Articulating Crane Council of North America (ACCNA) monitors OSHA standards, state requirements and other regulatory developments affecting articulating cranes. Members work together to anticipate how changes may affect equipment use and function and help the industry prepare for evolving requirements.

The Council’s work has also helped advance articulating crane operator certification and continues today as the industry navigates developments including advanced driver assistance systems.

Learn more about ACCNA, its regulatory work and the companies helping move the articulating crane industry forward.
