Antioch, I know this has been a challenging November for our Church family. We never know when we schedule things like revival what lies between that day and the day it begins. I’ve never been more certain that our Church needs revival in my whole pastoral ministry. The Lord knew, when we trusted His leadership in putting this together, that we would need this more than we even knew at the time. I’m so proud of our Church! You have ministered and prayed and loved on one another through many unforeseen trials this past month. And we aren’t through. But the Lord has uniquely placed an amazing opportunity before us to experience Him afresh and anew. I need revival. I need to he refreshed and refueled. I don’t know anything that can do that any better than the gospel of Jesus Christ and the moving of His Holy Spirit.
Our preparation has been spotty at best this past month. It’s not our fault. God knows why and He’s bigger than that. We have prayed over this meeting, our evangelist, and singers. We will continue to do so.
Will you make a solid weekend commitment? #1. I’m asking you to make a special effort to spend extra time in prayer this entire weekend for our revival.
#2. I’m asking you to invite your friends and family to join us each night and for you to make a special effort to commit to attending every service.
#3. I’m asking you to please “SHARE SHARE SHARE” this post on your Facebook timeline every 3 days in a row. Today. Friday. Saturday.
We have a tool in social media to reach thousands with the touch of a button. A soul may be saved, or a life forever changed, that was reached by you sharing this flier. Help us spread the word. Church, we need revival. Let’s stop at nothing to make sure we experience exactly that! Lord, let it start with me. -Bro. Rubin
