Walker Tire & Muffler has a full-time opening for a Tire Technician. We specialize in car tires, truck tires, commercial tires, and agriculture tires . Since 1935, Walker Tire has been providing tires and service to satisfied customers throughout Illinois. We focus on building strong customer relationships and providing the highest quality of workmanship on each job we perform.
Job Responsibilities:
-Talking to the customer about any issues they are experiencing.
-Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health.
-Recommending appropriate repair treatment or replacement of tires.
-Repairing punctures and replacing faulty valves.
-Installing new tires.
-Balancing tires.
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-Ability to perform multiple tasks
-Ability to lift, push and pull up to 125 pounds
-Frequently bending, squatting, and kneeling
-Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $16.00 per hour
