πFall is coming faster than we would like!
Get your harvest DOTs scheduled ASAP so that you aren't caught in the last minute rush.
As a reminder this is a private residence, we kindly ask that you observe the following common courtesies...
β οΈ Please please slow down. We have many loving/beloved pets (yes, even the turkey!) who may wish to say "hi" or "bye" to you and inadvertently get in your way. Above all, the boys are at the age that they want to spend all their time in and around the shop. While they know to get out of the way, if you are blazing in at Mach 100, their short little legs can't move fast enough. These lives are irreplaceable- slow down.
π± While the grass may be dry and (in places) half weeds, Clayton remembers the effort it took to get that grass going when he moved in and doesn't appreciate you driving on it further smashing his efforts for a nice lawn. Please don't drive or park on the grass.
π We understand that it gets pretty packed with vehicles around here at times. Please back into the circle drive lot whenever possible. If that center lot is full, please park on the east side of the buildings (the side closest to the road). That way the driveway is not impeded for others trying to get to the shop or the house. If both the east and circle lots are full, there may be some room on the west side, just don't block the drive to the house. Becca gets a little cranky when she has to off-road her car through the lawn to get groceries to the house.
π Also, if leaving a truck before/after hours, please be sure it does not block the school bus' ability to navigate the circle drive. Clayton doesn't appreciate running through the snow in his jammies to move a truck in the morning so that the bus can get through.
We understand things get crazy at times. We are willing to help you park, whenever possible. Please slow down and be considerate of others and their property. We hope these tips will help harvest go smoother here for everyone.
Have a great rest of your summer! ππ
