I had a black 1999 SS Camaro 6 speed.

It was ugly then and still is but it had back then the fattest windshield ever made. Very low wind resistance.

I had a 1979 too. Factory no air. Dropped in a 468 with some beautiful oval port heads and it ran hard. Low 12s on street tires which back then was fast.

Muscle Car Jr Inc Vintage F Body Road test data panel of the day. The fabled 73 Super Duty Firebird . Pontiac flew the performance flag well into the 70s when we all thought performance cars would be gone forever or you would have to buy an Import at twice the price to get these numbers. I always take C&D tests with a grain of salt, but there is no denying what could have been with this excellent mill across the PONCHO stable
