Thanks to John Fletcher for letting us work on the famous Doniphan, MO 1971 Mustang. We changed the carburetor, ignition parts, and radiator to get it running and set the timing. It got new brakes on all 4 corners. WE fixed the leaky gear shift lever seal on the trans. The dash got a new lens and now all the dash lights and tail lights work. The steering was extra sloppy, so it got a new manual gear box. Now it rides and drives like a new 1971 Mustang with manual steering and manual drum brakes.

Thanks to Keith Jones for letting us fix his baby. Keith was my neighbor growing up and finished the restoration of this 1969 Z-28 in January of 1990, right before I graduated high school. It rolled back into a poll at a gas station and messed up the quarter and bumper. He only wanted the metal work done, so that is what we did, and then put it in primer. He wants to restore the car again.

Thanks to Scott for allowing us to rebuild his dream car. A little over 20 years ago, the front of this car was wiped out in an accident. It went from a '71 Malibu to a 70/71 SS resto-mod. Today is the day of delivery. We started with an Art Morrison chassis, Blue Print Engines LS 7 (427 ci 625 hp and 4L70E trans), lots of AMD sheet metal, engine compartment panels by VanNatta Fabrication, wheels by Biller Specialties, Interior by TMI, stainless headers from Ultimate headers, that fit the engine and the frame perfectly, Dakota gauges from Affordable Street Rods, window tinting by Springfield's Perfect Tint and the rest of the stainless exhaust by Jake Herman. Paint was provided by ColorVision; it's a new Porsche color. A special appreciation and thanks to Mitchell Denney, who did a fabulous job on the front end, wiring, electronics, picking out the wheels and helping me find stuff in the shop I just had in my hand. Without Mitchell this car would not have happened.

Trent at Baker Tuning was able to squeeze all the juice from the BluePrint Engines, LS 7 427ci beast of a motor. Final horsepower at the wheels was 456 @ 6180. But at 3000 RPM it's making 400 LBS/FT of torque. The power curve is really impressive. It's mild enough to drive around town, or cruise on the highway @ 70 MPH and rip around with. Not that I know from personal experience, but with the Art Morrison Enterprises chassis it sticks to the ground at over 100mph, not like the old Chevelles that started floating at 80

Another satisfied customer taking his car home. Thanks to Jesse and his son Axle for the opportunity to serve them and give them the car they desired. We did a complete restoration of the body: fixed all the rust, remade the lower rear quarters and wheel well area. Blacked out the trim, and tucked the obnoxious factory bumpers to fit the car like it should have in 1974. The rear wing is from a 1970 Buick GSX and fits the car very nicely.
WE also did three coats of Lizard Skin sound deadener and insolation and covered the inside and bottom with PPG epoxy and AUE 100 black paint.
The color is 2024 Dodge Challenger Hemi Orange with PPG's new clear. (It is really clear, compared to some other clears and lays down very nice.)
The car will get a very nice 440, 727 and 8-3/4 rear with 3.55s and a factory stripe kit. I hope they enjoy the car for decades to come.

I want to thank Kevin Boyd for bringing out his truck and letting us see it complete and running. It left in January all painted and put together, as far as body parts go. He really DRIVES this thing. He took me for a ride, and put all 580 HP down. Quite impressive. It has everything; looks great, sounds great, runs great, and drives great. Blue Print Engine and T56 Magnum 6 speed.

This looks like someone melted a sapphire and poured it in this car. Beautiful color. Stage 2 of paint complete. 5 coats of DCU 2021. Plenty of dry time in between. Started at 6:00 this morning and finally finished at 5:00 this evening. Thanks to Scott for entrusting this project to us.
Also Mitchell Denney did a great job of spraying most things. It was my turn to be the helper.
