A TALE OF TWO FASTABACKS: Check out and then compare this '67 Pontiac Catalina fastback we found for sale with the one we currently have available. Go ahead, click on it, read it, and think about how THAT one needs EVERYTHING, inside and out, and how hard it would be to source original parts, good reproductions (if they even MAKE reproductions), and the literal MOUNTAIN of money and TIME it would take to get it to the point of our blue on blue example we have for sale.

https://tinyurl.com/yc34763f

For sure, ours costs more, but for that additional amount, you could barely get the metal work and paint done on this car, much less a complete restoration of the interior, engine bay, suspension, wheels, tires, chrome, and on and on and on. Not to mention the fact ours is loaded with tons of options this other example doesn't even have to begin with. Ours may not be perfect, but it certainly presents a massive value gain over this other example and what it would take to make it as nice.

This is all to say: You are MILES and TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars ahead to buy a nicer example that doesn't require months or years of busted knuckles, dozens of cancelled checks, and who knows how much actual progress. NO ONE EVER wishes they would've bought a pile of junk, basketcase, or worse vehicle after spending more up front to get into a MUCH better quality classic.

BTW, we are currently adding a new steering box, transmission gasket and fluid change, and recharging the AC on ours in order to make it EVEN BETTER than it already is. Mechanically, it'll be the best Pontiac you'll find at any car show, and the most loaded with options to boot!

Now, go check out this other one and compare away! Then, call us to come check out ours.

WHAT'S NEW WITH OL' BLUE:

Because our '67 Catalina is such a good, honest car, with everything in working order right down to the factory cruise control, we decided to go ahead and eliminate a few of the typical Pontiac leaks underneath. We're currently having the leaky steering box replaced, as well as the TH400's transmission pan gasket (along with new fluid and filter, of course!).

This super highly optioned fastback is going to be ready for any kind of road trip when we finally hand over the keys to the new owner, with just about everything mechanically perfect on this 60 yr old blue beast!

Call us now to come see this cool old Poncho in person and see why we have so many good reviews on FB, eBay, Google, and everywhere else. We take good care of our classics AND our clients!

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR FOLLOWERS!

We recently passed the 2,000 follower mark--not a huge deal in terms of raw numbers, BUT it's been 100% completely organic, resulting in a group of REAL people who are REAL classic car enthusiasts, and that's really satisfying. We got there honestly, meaning:

* We've never "bought" followers like so many pages do
* We've never bought advertising space or sponsored ads
* We've never had a presence on other social media apps
* We don't post "shock" headlines or clickbait content

We stick to the business of vintage cars, trucks, and hot rods. That's it. We don't try to trick anyone (here on FB, or otherwise!), and we try to provide classic content and real, honest value when it comes to the rides we want you to put in your garage.

If you can appreciate what we're saying here, please PLEASE share our page, posts, and content with other classic car fans like yourself, and ask them to follow us, too. It's a big part of how we can keep doing what we're doing!

Special props to a few of our many top contributors like Laura A, Marty P, Pauley Walnuts, Mike A, Nate H, Teresa, and so many others who interact with us regularly. We notice and It is always appreciated.

Now, someone come buy this stupid-good-looking and loaded up Mustang convertible before we end up driving the wheels off it! :-)

THIS FASTBACK IS ONE COOL CAT--ALINA!

We're now ready to offer up this slick, Montreaux Blue over blue 1967 Pontiac Catalina to our next future repeat customer! 😁 Absolutely dripping with options, you'll likely never see another Catalina with this many factory extras. The most significant highlights:

1) Extremely well-sorted and runs like an absolute top.
2) Super solid body, all original panels, and no rot.
3) The interior is very VERY nice, and needs nothing.

Check out this list of optional equipment. This is the most loaded Catalina you'll ever find, since this was the base model in the line-up.

* 290 hp Pontiac 400 V8 mated to a Turbo 400 automatic
* Factory chrome engine dress up kit
* Power steering
* Power brakes
* Disc brakes up front
* Walnut wood steering wheel (with ZERO cracks!)
* Tilt steering column
* Factory cruise control
* Air conditioning
* AM/FM stereo (converted to Bluetooth)
* Power bench seat
* 15" Rally II wheels (restored with new caps, lugs, and rings)
* Dual outside chrome mirrors (w/opt Driver's side remote)
* Deluxe "carriage" seat belts
* Courtesy light group (dash, glove box, under dash)
* SUPER RARE removable factory trunk light
* Deluxe trunk trim (mat, tire cover & matching inner quarter covers

It's had one repaint that is now over 40 yrs old, so it definitely has nicks, chips, and minor flaws throughout, but it still presents very well and the factory panel alignment is the best I've ever seen. Check out the pics below (videos available!) then call us for a personal viewing. NO WASTED TIME, NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!

Offered at $27,500.

NONE OF OUR CLASSICS ARE EVER NAMED "RUSTY," AND FOR GOOD REASON...

Check out this 1-minute video as I go around our '67 Catalina (yeeess, I misspoke and called it a Bonneville, heh) with a magnet to show you how incredibly solid, original, and rust-free the all-original body panels are. We love finding unique muscle cars and classics that have withstood the test of time, letting us know they've led lives that were easier than most. It makes for a better car, both now when you buy it, as you drive and enjoy it, and later when it comes time to sell.

As a hard and fast rule, KCCC will never buy, own, or sell classics with excessive rust issues. Just one more reason you can trust the quality of the vintage vehicles we offer to our valued clients.

Spread the word about us, please, by liking, sharing, and commenting on this post and others like it. We truly appreciate you taking just a second or two to do this.

It's hard to find classic car dealers who operate with integrity. We always have, and we always will.

INSTALLING NEW CARPET IN OUR 1967 PONTIAC CATALINA--TIPS & TRICKS.

Aside from all new upholstery, nothing freshens up a classic's interior like a new set of threads, especially when the carpet it replaces is original, and soaked with 50+ years of dirt, use, and abuse. It's not a particularly difficult project, but it can be a bit challenging to make it fit as perfectly as new. Take a close look at the pictorial below as you keep in mind these points:

1) Get your new carpet out of the box ASAP and give it some time in the sun or on the garage floor in order to relax into its naturally molded shape. This makes fitting it inside the cabin easier, and leads to more accurate trimming.

2) Remove the seats, take up the old carpet (ours was far nastier than it looks in the pics, yuck!), making sure not to damage wiring for rear speakers, power seats, etc. We chose to leave the original black sound deadening material, as it was still in usable shape. Otherwise, you can scrape it off with a putty knife and leave it as is, or install new material.

3) Loosen and/or remove kick panels, rear armrests/lower door panels, remove the rear seat bottom, and clean out all holes where seat/seat belt bolts go through the floor.

4) Install the new carpet, making sure to line up the new rugs with the center hump, as well as making sure the heel pad is in the right location. This is where careful trimming is critical. Remember, you can always cut off more, but it looks really dumb if you cut off too much before the fitment is finalized! We try to stuff as much extra carpet behind kick panels, under sill plates, etc as will fit comfortably without stressing out plastics or warping shapes.

5) Cutting holes for the bolts can seem scary, but using a sharp, pointed punch or needle-like tool is a great way to do it with minimal damage and effort. We like to come from the underside to eyeball the area to cut, then actually jab the punch from inside the cab to minimize the appearance of any damage to the carpet itself. Then we use a sharp box cutter to cut an "X" across the hole, then remove the least amount of material as possible for the bolt to fit cleanly through. Don't forget to notch out the edge of the carpet where all the sill plate screws go, as it makes installation far easier.

6) Now that final fitment is done, and all necessary holes are made, reinstall seats, panels, and sill plates and admire your awesome upgrading skills! Don't forget to rehook up your power seat wires, too.

7) BONUS TIP: See that last picture of the dirty towels? That's all the dirt and grime that came off what otherwise looked like fairly clean seat belts! BOTH sides of the towels looked like that, so take the time to use some Dawn dish soap, water and a stiff bristle brush and you'll be amazed at how much nicer your belts will look and feel.

This 1967 blue on blue Catalina now has a near show quality interior, since it was otherwise incredibly well-preserved. If you're interested in making this fun fastback yours, give us a call today!
