We join the Chesapeake Public Schools community in remembering our long-time customer and friend, Herbert Byrd.

Herbert was more than a customer to Sonny Merryman. He was someone our team always looked forward to seeing, and his kindness and dedication to student transportation left a lasting impact on so many of us.

Our heartfelt condolences are with Herbert’s family, friends, and everyone at Chesapeake Public Schools during this difficult time.

Herbert will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the people and communities he poured into. 💙
