🔥 Kuttawa Cannonball Run Weekend!

JP Marine is headed to Kuttawa this weekend for the Cannonball Run, and we’re proud to support our performance boating community.

Our team has been busy prepping powerboats all week — from inspections and diagnostics to service, setup, and making sure these rigs are ready before they hit the water. As a Mercury Racing Certified shop, we know what these boats demand, and weekends like this are exactly why we do what we do.

We had a boat roll in with a generator that got flooded out - the water pump had let water back up into it and fried genset in for good. ❌

So our team pulled it and dropped in a brand-new generator, then tracked down and fixed the water pump problem that caused the flooding in the first place. ⚙️
No sense putting in a new unit just to have it happen all over again!

That's the JP Marine way - we fix the problem AND the reason behind it, so you get back on the water with confidence!

⚙️ SHIFTING ROUGH? WE'VE GOT IT HANDLED

This one rolled in fighting every shift - slipping in and out of gear and hesitating every time the throttle moved. 🔧
Our techs ran the diagnostics and traced it back to a failing shift actuator, the part that tells your drive when to grab forward and reverse.

A bad actuator only gets worse, and the last place you want it to quit is out on the water with no easy way home.
We pulled the old one, dropped in a new actuator, and dialed everything back in - now she's shifting smooth and ready for the season! ✅
