Robertson Diesel Repair, Inc. is expanding and looking to hire a Certified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic.
Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic - Full Time
Job Duties:
* Job duties include (but not limited to): Preventative maintenance, annual inspections, computer diagnostics, engine rebuilds/engine overhauls, tune-ups, brakes, suspension, rear ends, tire repair, heavy duty equipment work, jobs in the field and roadside.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area
* Perform all job duties in a timely manner
* Advise supervisors of any potential issues
* Provide accurate and sufficient information on all required documents
* All other duties as assigned
Compensation:

Pay: Starting Range
$25.00 to $36.00 (based on experience and skills). Hourly pay can go higher for properly qualified personnel.
Experience/Certifications:
* High School Diploma/GED
* CAT and/or Cummins Certified
* Mechanical Knowledge and Experience
Job Requirements:
* Clean driving record
* Ability to drive vehicles in a safe manner
* Be proficient in computer use
* Ability to lift and/or move objects and tools that may weigh up to 100 lbs.
* Physical movement such as walking, kneeling, bending, stretching, reaching, etc.
* Be able to communicate with customers and co-workers professionally
Shift & Schedule
* Dayshift M-F
* Potential to work Overtime
* Possible after hours road calls with callout fee
