🏆 Honoree Spotlight: Jessie Rychlik

🚗 Building business with heart and community spirit.
Meet Jessie Rychlik, co-owner of JL Automotive, an award-winning Eureka business she founded with her husband Lyle in 2017. A lifelong Humboldt County resident, Jessie is passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape her.

Her deep community leadership includes serving four years with the Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods (as Vice President and President), working as Volunteer Coordinator for Toys for Tots of the Redwood Region, and serving as President of BNI North Coast Networkers.

A 2026 Soroptimist Ruby Award recipient, Jessie believes success is most meaningful when it creates an opportunity to give back and lift others along the way.

🎀 OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀
Today we trade a little of our JL red for pink. 💗
October is a reminder to honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand beside the families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. It’s also a reminder to take care of YOU.
Know your body.
Know your risk.
Talk with your doctor about when screening is right for you. Early detection can make a difference. Throughout October, JL Automotive proudly stands with everyone whose story includes breast cancer whether you're fighting, surviving, supporting someone you love, or remembering someone you miss.
No one fights alone. 🎀
With love from all of us at

Is Your Car Ready for a Tune-Up?
When was the last time your vehicle had a tune-up?
And no… a wash and interior detail does NOT count. 😂
Spark plugs,
Filters,
Ignition components, and other maintenance items all play a role in keeping your engine running smoothly and efficiently.
If you’ve noticed your vehicle just doesn’t run like it used to, your fuel mileage has dropped, or it’s simply been a LONG time since anyone checked it may be time to give us a call.

Back-to-School Blues The Parent Edition

The backpacks are packed,
the lunches are made,
I’ve yelled “GET YOUR SHOES ON!”
for the fifth time today....

We finally pull out,
already running late,
then hit the school drop-off line…
and accept our fate.

Cars front to back,
there’s nowhere to go,
and WHY is that parent
moving SO SLOW?!

At last, they jump out,
I’ve survived the first part!!
I turn the key...
click… click…

My car won’t start!!

The kids made it to school,
but Mom’s stuck in line
THIS was definitely
not part of the design...

So before school mornings
put your patience to the test,
let JL Automotive
handle all the rest.

Because the drop-off line is stressful enough…
your car doesn’t need to add to it. 😂🚗
