Better Body and Paint is searching for an experienced Auto Body Technician to add to our team. We are a family owned and operated business, located in Eugene. As a business we stand by quality workmanship and expect our employees to hold up to these standards. Applicants are required to have +2 years of journeyman experience and a valid drivers license.

Full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Requirements

• 2 + years’ journeyman experience
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components
• Setting up, measuring, pulling, straightening and replacing frames and unibody
• File, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces to match original contours
• Fit and weld replacement parts into place
• Remove, repair and straighten damaged panels and sheet metal alignment
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver’s license

Now we are searching for a Blue Printer/Disassembler to add to our team! As a business, we provide training and education for this position and encourage career growth for our employees.

Job Responsibilities:
-Thoroughly disassembling a vehicle following an accident
- Identifying parts and damage that may need to be replaced or repaired
- Working with team members to establish a repair plan
- Reassembling vehicles following the repair plan
- Maintaining quality of work throughout the repair process
- Communication with team members

Better Body and Paint is in need of a Shop Helper. The position is best suited for an individual who has prior experience in the auto body industry. Job duties would include the tear down and reassembly of vehicles, as well as assisting techs with additional repairs throughout the week. The experience gained from this position can lead to a journeyman position for someone who is flexible, motivated, and reliable.

Requirements:
-Preferably, some experience in the auto body trade
-Valid driver's license
