Vintage Underground is proud to be a sponsor of Food for Lane County's Empty Bowls Auction, which raised funds to support a whopping 1.2 MILLION MEALS for families facing hunger in our community as we head into the holiday season. Our own Alex and Amy Haugland chaired the event, delivering compelling and compassionate remarks, complete with their signature warmth, to lead and support the outstanding charitable giving.

As 2026 car season comes to a close, we can't help but reminisce about the grand time we had on our inaugural Lap of the Woods tour this summer, enjoying 1000 miles of gorgeous southern Oregon roads in great cars with wonderful people.

Please save the dates June 20-25, 2027 for next year's Lap of the Sound tour featuring four fun-filled days experiencing the terrific roads and waterways of the Puget Sound region in Washington. Registration will open after the first of the year and we've already got a waiting list to grab one of the 35 available spaces. We can't wait to gather together again!

This '59 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce left the shop a little bit ago.

This car underwent various little repairs such as new seals around the car, paint touchup, new rims and tires, and a new convertible top that was handmade by our upholstery team.

We've been making amazing progress on the '65 Mercedes 230 SL AMG55 build thanks to Erik and Jeff.

Erik is working on fabricating the interior floor and has modified the shifter assembly from a CLK to fit into the transmission tunnel.

Jeff has been creating a replacement part for the soft top deck lid pivot. He was able to borrow the piece off of Alex Haugland's 280 SL and create a digital scan to 3d print.

This '67 Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider is completed and going home.

Our upholstery tech Dave fixed several issues with the convertible top's fitment and sealing. As well, the car received a new tune from our powertrain specialist Tim, and had some electrical systems fixed by our mechanical tech Leighton.

Today we've got a double feature! Two bespoke Italian sports cars powered by American small block V8s.

The first car is a '69 De Tomaso Mangusta with a Ford 302 V8, and the second is a '74 De Tomaso Pantera with a 351 Cleveland V8. The Mangusta will be receiving a rebuilt engine.

Exciting things going on with the 1988 Alfa Romeo Milano build. The rebuilt 3.0L V6 is receiving a twin-turbo setup utilizing a pair of Garrett 3.5L EcoBoost Gen 1 turbos.

In order to ensure everything fits, our mechanical tech Jeff has been busy modeling and 3D printing test-fit parts for the charge pipes, exhaust manifolds, and turbo air boxes. This allows us to perfect the clearances and geometry before committing to the final 3D-printed metal parts.
