Karl, happy birthday from everyone at Sun! 🥳

If you've had the pleasure on meeting Karl, you already know that he is the kind of person who goes out of his way to help people - no questions asked. Just last week he saw someone across the street from our store who was struggling with their car and he ran over there to help her. We have so many similar stories about Karl going out of his way to help people; that's just the kind of person he is.

Celebrating TEN YEARS with Kevin. 🥹🙌

Kevin is a talented Master Technician and Mentor who came to us because he shares Sun's values. Kevin recently said, "I ran my own shop for 15 years and we agree on the same values — very honest shop, very hard to find in this line of work. I work here because Craig runs his business the same way I ran mine."

Kevin: We deeply appreciate your investment in this industry, our mission, younger techs, and our community as a whole. Your dedication over the years does not go unnoticed. Thank you for being such an integral part of our Sun team.

We're gearing up for the Function 4 Junction cruise tonight out in Junction City! Sun's Owner, Craig, made this amazing trophy from scratch that will be awarded to Best of Show later this afternoon. 🏆

It’s and this week we're highlighting Mark from our Oakway location. 👏

If you’ve spent time around Sun Automotive, you know Mark. He’s been part of the team for many years, serving in several different roles and at different locations over that time, and no matter where he’s needed, he steps in with a positive attitude and a willingness to help however he can.

Mark spent many years as a technician and continues investing in the people around him by helping teach and strengthen diagnostic skills across the team. He’s dependable, encouraging, and genuinely one of the best people to have in the shop every day.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything Mark brings to Sun Automotive — and Silas obviously agrees! 🐾

We want to give a shoutout to Declan at our Junction City location. ☀️

Declan is one of those people who’s always willing to jump in wherever needed. From helping around the shop to polishing headlights to tackling the not-so-fun jobs nobody else wants to do, he consistently shows up with a great attitude and strong work ethic.

Customers regularly comment on how polite and professional he is, and our team sees that same character behind the scenes every day.

Declan hopes to become a technician one day, and we’re grateful to have him on the team while he continues learning and growing in the industry. People with his attitude, humility, and willingness to work hard are hard to come by.

Memorial Day weekend means more people on the road, longer drives, heavier traffic, and unfortunately… more accidents. The National Safety Council estimates hundreds of traffic fatalities happen over Memorial Day weekend every year, and traffic deaths are historically higher during this holiday weekend than surrounding weekends.
