🚨 WHY IS THIS CADILLAC ESCALADE BOUNCING LIKE A BASKETBALL?! 🏀😂

Watch what happens when this Escalade hits a bump! 👀 That extra bouncing isn’t supposed to happen!

🔧 We found the problem: FAILED FRONT STRUTS!

Your suspension is supposed to absorb bumps, keep your tires planted on the road, and help maintain control of your vehicle. When those struts fail, you can end up with excessive bouncing, reduced handling, and a rough ride.

💡 If your vehicle keeps bouncing after hitting a bump, don’t ignore it! Your suspension could be trying to tell you something.

🚨 ANOTHER CASE OF “SOMEONE ELSE WAS JUST HERE!” 🚨

This Ford Focus came into Redline Automotive with a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT and a noise coming from the rear. The customer told us it had already been to another repair shop for these exact same problems.

Well, we found out why the problems were still there! 😳

🔧 PROBLEM #1 – THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Someone had apparently attempted to repair the wiring to the purge valve. And when we say attempted, we mean ATTEMPTED!

We found multiple butt connectors (the WRONG type for this application), improperly crimped connections, and wires that had literally fallen right back apart.

That’s not a wiring repair. That’s a future comeback waiting to happen!

🔧 PROBLEM #2 – THE REAR NOISE

Someone had installed rear brake pads but somehow managed to leave out THE ANTI-RATTLE CLIPS!

And here’s the kicker… the noise they were probably chasing in the rear? A BAD WHEEL BEARING!

So now we’ve got improper brake work, missing hardware, a failed wiring repair, AND a wheel bearing making noise.

💥 HERE’S THE BOTTOM LINE:

You can pay for a quality repair once, or you can keep paying for someone else’s shortcuts.

Cheap work isn’t always cheap when you have to pay someone else to fix it correctly!

🔧😂 REDLINE AUTOMOTIVE: YOU’LL NEVER GUESS WHAT WE FOUND!

Customer comes in with a CRAZY rattling noise, and we’re on a mission to track it down! 🔍🔊

So what do we do? Pull the seats… remove the center console… dig down into the lower air ducts… because that noise is NOT going to beat us! 💪🤣

And what do we find hiding in there? 🥁🥁🥁

A METAL REUSABLE DRINKING STRAW! 🥤😂

Yep. All that disassembly for a drinking straw! You just can’t make this stuff up!

🤣 Sometimes noise diagnostics means tearing half the interior apart just to find out somebody’s straw decided to go on an adventure.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Sometimes the noise is serious… and sometimes your car is just trying to return your missing straw! 😂

🚨 HONDA SMOKE MYSTERY: THE ANSWER IS OIL SMOKE! 💨🛢️

Yesterday, we asked you to guess what kind of smoke was coming out of this Honda’s tailpipe. Some of you may have guessed it… OIL SMOKE! 🔥

But wait until you hear this! 😳

The customer told us this vehicle is using 4 QUARTS OF OIL EVERY 200 MILES!!! 🤯

That’s not just burning a little oil… THAT’S A LOT OF OIL!

We started testing and found that the oil hasn’t been changed in a LONG time. How many miles are actually on this oil? Who knows! The customer has just been adding more oil because the engine keeps burning it.

And here’s where things get even uglier… 👀

The engine was knocking at 1,500 RPM and above, so we decided to cut the oil filter open and see what was hiding inside.

🪙 WELCOME TO GOLD RUSH: REDLINE AUTOMOTIVE EDITION! 😂⛏️

The amount of metal in this filter looks like somebody’s been mining for gold! Unfortunately, this isn’t gold… it’s metal from inside the engine, and it’s a VERY bad sign.

⚠️ LET THIS BE YOUR REMINDER: CHANGE YOUR OIL!

Adding oil is NOT the same as changing your oil! Even if you keep the level full, old, degraded oil and accumulated contamination can contribute to serious engine damage. And when you start finding metal in the filter? You may already have a major problem on your hands.

💥 Oil changes are cheap compared to engines. Don’t learn that lesson the expensive way!

🚨 70s EL CAMINO — NO OIL PRESSURE! 🛢️💀

This classic El Camino came into Redline Automotive after the owner said they were driving along when they suddenly lost oil pressure. 😳

So, we started checking things out…

✅ Dipstick says FULL of oil!
✅ Hooked up a manual oil pressure gauge — 0 PSI. ZERO. NOTHING.
✅ Removed the oil filter and cranked the engine… NOT A DROP OF OIL CAME OUT! 😬

Now, we’re getting somewhere! 🔧

We cut the oil filter open to see if it could tell us what led up to this failure. And HOLY METAL SHAVINGS! 🤯

IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY DUMPED GLITTER IN THIS THING! ✨😂

And unfortunately, this isn’t the good kind of glitter. That metal is evidence of some serious internal engine damage.

💥 THE VERDICT: This El Camino has a major internal engine failure. It’s going to need an engine rebuild or a replacement motor.

The oil level was full, but that doesn’t mean the engine was getting oil where it needed to go!

This is why proper diagnostics matter. We don’t just guess, throw parts at it, and hope for the best. We test, inspect, and find out what’s REALLY going on.
