We had another great Essex NY Cars and Coffee this morning. As always, Junior graced us with more FORD muscle with a 2008 Shelby Mustang and gave a dazzling display of mechanic mastery hovering over Rick’s ‘52 F1 that had developed a new glitch. After a long list possibilities, he concluded a short or frayed wire in the ignition. We hope you get it corrected Rick. We had a new car in the mix today as well. A flawless ‘48 Willy’s Overland Jeepster made the trek over from Burlington. Thank you Todd for joining “ The Club” today. Great car!

The Peterbilt stole the show on Sundays Essex NY Cars and Coffee. Tony P. fired up his very cool car hauler and shared some over the road tales of hauling the ‘33 Willy’s to drag strips for some 7sec 1/8 mile runs. Hope to get that car here one Sunday morning soon! We had another icon in the lot today. Not to take anything away from any of the cars that attended today…but wowzah!!!
Junior graced us with the local and legendary “Denny Egglefield Tribute Car”. A 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 that he exquisitely restored emulating a car from the Egglefield’s long classic and muscle car history. Thank you Junior for once again enlightening us with your endless Ford knowledge and tales of days gone by. Thank you to all that attended and for keeping classic car enthusiasm rich and alive!

Finally a little relief from heat! Cars and Coffee was great this morning. We had a couple new cars in the mix. A 1960 diesel powered Mercedes and a ‘66 C-10. Dave and AnneMarie brought doughnuts all the way from Newcomb in The Stingray. Coffee and carburetors every Sunday!

We had a great morning and school was in session again! Thank you Junior for the fabulous HEI lesson and roadside repair/mod showcase. The ‘39 would have been an ornament here for awhile otherwise. The intermittent distributor and weak spark issue turned fatal here in our lot. Junior pulled the modern pc board out of the SBC powered ‘39 FORD and retro-fitted an Accell module out of a BOSS 302. Creig hit the key…vroom!!

We had a surprisingly good start for cars & coffee this morning against all odds given the weather. Thank you to all that faired the weather and came by this morning. Thank you Judy for bringing Lenny’s ‘56 Ford Custom and your family to kick it off right. We are dedicating the season to him. He was our hero here at the garage. As always, when Junior pulls in we know we are in for a fabulous schooling on classic Ford mechanics. He’s a true master and historian. Again, Thank you everyone for another great morning of coffee and camshafts!
