C3 Corvette that we wrapped up last week.

The customer brought the car to us with complaints of a poor running condition. After diagnosing the issue, we determined the original points distributor was failing. The owner opted to upgrade to a modern HEI distributor conversion.

During disassembly, we also found improperly gapped spark plugs, burnt plug wires, and a non-functioning vacuum advance.

We installed the new HEI distributor, MSD plug wires, and fresh spark plugs, eliminating the drivability issues and bringing this classic back to life.

This Corvette is all squared away and ready for many more miles.

🔥 1999 Camaro Z28 Build Complete 🔥

Here’s a look at the 1999 Camaro Z28 we wrapped up a couple of weeks ago.

This Camaro came to us after suffering some major engine failures. After discussing goals and expectations, we put together a game plan to build a powerful, and fun street car.

Under the hood is a custom-built Pilcher Automotive 383 cubic inch stroker LS engine putting down nearly 500 horsepower to the rear tires. To complement the new powerplant, the T56 6-speed transmission received a complete overhaul to ensure it could handle the added power and provide years of dependable service.

Along the way, we installed a long list of new components, freshened up numerous systems, and added plenty of powder-coated parts to clean up the appearance under the hood and throughout the car.

After all the hard work, this Camaro turned out exactly how we envisioned it a clean and incredibly fun street car that’s ready to be enjoyed for years to come !

Shop Update On This Beautiful Wednesday Morning.

We’ve got a wide variety of projects moving through Quick Shift Performance this week the guys are hard at it.

🔧 Late-model Camaro in for a camshaft replacement and DOD delete. These systems are known for lifter-related failures, so we’re upgrading the valve train before the failure happens.

🔧 C3 Corvette receiving an HEI distributor conversion along with some maintenance and reliability upgrades.

🔧 First-generation Camaro undergoing a major modernization package including:

• Vintage Air Gen 5 A/C system
• CVF front drive system
• American Autowire wiring harness
• Dakota Digital gauges
• Additional upgrades to tie everything together throughout the vehicle

2014 Mustang GT wrapped up with a few performance upgrades.

Installed:
• BBK Long Tube Headers
• BBK X-Pipe
• Barton Short Throw Shifter

While the car was apart we corrected a couple small issues we found to make sure everything went back together right.

Long tubes completely change the sound and feel of these 5.0 Mustangs, and the Barton shifter makes the MT82 much more enjoyable to drive.
