It looks like a great weekend to include a few indoor activities like games, reading, and if you are in the park the Memorial Weekend-stop by the Park Store.
We have lots of fun ( and useful) things ( like comfy lounge pants!) for all ages including books and games. Open daily at 8:30 am.

Good News! Sycamore Springs Park is OPEN to the public today!

Thank you everyone for your patience while we worked on flood cleanup yesterday. We’re happy to welcome visitors back today and are looking forward to a beautiful day at the park!

As always, please use caution around any wet or muddy areas as things continue drying out.

Sycamore Springs Park is still OPEN for campers who are scheduled to arrive today. If you have a camping reservation, your site or cabin will still be available for check-in.

However, the park is temporarily CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC TODAY while we continue flood cleanup efforts and assess conditions around the park.

We are hoping to reopen to the public tomorrow, depending on the weather and conditions. We’ll continue to post updates as we know more.

Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding while we get things cleaned up and ready to safely welcome everyone back!

Road Closure Update for Campers Coming from the Louisville / East Side

We previously posted that Old State Road 64 would only be blocked for 2 days, but we’ve now heard the closure could possibly last up to a week.

If you are coming to Sycamore Springs Park this weekend from the east using Old State Road 64, please call ahead to check whether the road is still closed before traveling that route. You can still use Exit 86 and come in on Highway 237. If you do,
Do NOT follow GPS if it tries to send you onto Church Street.
➡️ Stay on past Church Street and continue to Old State Road 64.
➡️ Then go west approximately 5 miles to Tunnel Hill Road and follow it into the park.

You can also call the office before traveling if you have questions about the best route to use.

Espresso cups have arrived ( plus 2 other coffee cups). We added a few shopping bags just incase you need one!
So many other new things, come and see! Open daily at 8:30 am at the office.

Alert. State Road 64 in Crawford County, Indiana, is closed near English (east of S.R. 37) for pipe replacement as of Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The closure is expected to last for two days, with an official detour utilizing S.R. 237, I-64, and S.R. 66.
