As of today, Aspen Import Auto is officially closed.

We have done our best to get everything of value into the hands of fellow Fiat enthusiasts, as Tom would have liked. There were so many things we had to leave behind, but so many more that found homes.

We are so thankful for the outpouring of support, help, love, kind words, prayers and more. In fact, we are downright humbled by it, and that it has continued so long during this process. To all of you, THANK YOU.

Ginger and Matt now can focus on grieving, and finding some sense of the "new normal" that is life without Tom and the shop. They both still need your support, so if you'd like to leave a message the shop phone number will get you to them.

With Ginger's help, The Rocky Mountain Fiat Lancia Club will be putting up a dedicated page, listing suppliers and vendors to help you with the continued care and feeding of your Fiats now that we are retired from the business.

Again, thank you for everything, not just over these past months but for the years of wonderful memories over the course of the shop. We made so many friends, met so many wonderful people, and shared so many laughs. Letting go of that community has truly been the hardest part. But perhaps once we've had time to sort things out, we can catch back up with you through the RMFLC. Just a quick update...we are STILL sorting parts. We filled half a small dumpster full of used clutches, for example. Useable parts are being put in storage, broken/very used/unidentifiable things are being recycled. As we find things we are contacting folks that sent us a parts request, but it is very slow going. Many cars have left, and we hope to find homes for most of the remaining, but ones without titles may meet their fate at the recycler.

Unfortunately, the cancer is tenacious and already reappearing for Ginger’s husband, and he is undergoing more chemo. Please keep him in your thoughts, this is a very difficult fight.

Hi Everyone!

Well, it was a great day! We met some awesome people, sold some cars, and had a great time!!

We have some cars remaining, and have modified the list to only show available cars.

They are $250 each, cash, first come, first served. Due to fluctuating hours because of doctor's appointments, please call us at 303-934-8679 to make sure we will be at the shop when you come.

We will still be scheduling pickups of cars until we can clear enough room in the lot, so don't plan on grabbing your car when you pay. If you are buying one of the cars that are "first out" we may be able to accommodate you immediately.

What to expect at the Great Fiat Sale on Wednesday:

1. NO PARKING in the complex, please park on the street. Cars parked in the complex for the sale will be towed, we share the lot with many other businesses.

2. We are at the rear of the complex on the right. Please go inside and get your name on the list and get a bidding number if you want to participate in the sale.

3. After you have purchased your car you'll get a bill of sale and we'll schedule the day/time(s) for you to come pickup your car. You will be responsible for getting your car out of the lot and onto your trailer. So bring whatever tools you will need to air up tires, etc with you on your day of pickup.

HI Everyone!!

We are delighted, surprised and overwhelmed with the outpouring of interest in the cars. We are working on how to handle the volume of responses in the fairest way possible for everyone. Please stay tuned as we figure some things out, we will be having a staff meeting Friday to nail down the details.

There are a few things that need to be stated, as we didn’t post in the listing and now realize with the responses this may affect your buying decision:

1. All sales are cash only, as is, with what they have.

2. You are solely responsible to pick up your car(s) purchased and ship them however you can. We will have to schedule pickup days as we have a small, gated entry to the lot, and the cars are stacked in so it makes things a bit crazy.

3. If you pay for your car but cannot pick it up before the end of August, you will forfeit your payment and we will offer the car to someone who can come and get it. Our goal is to get the cars gone, and so we need your understanding with that.

4. We will likely have a “visit the yard” open house, along with an open house of the inside inventory and our parts yard in the back as well. We will be discussing the plans for that tomorrow in our staff meeting.

5. None of the cars are in running condition. We do not know when/if/how they ran before they got here, that information sadly is lost when we lost our Fiat Patron. What you see is what you get, so it is a bit of a gamble, we understand.
