Today’s fun fab Friday we made up this front crossmember/control arm mount, shock tower. Still need to be fit to the rest of the chassis but if I measured right it should work out. Then it can get welded out.

She may jut cut fast but she cuts straight. Plus it gives me time to work on other things while she cuts.

I finally got around to putting the cut55 MP plasma cutter to the test. I made a few test cuts just to make sure it’s all set up right. I took three different thickness cuts. 1/2”, 3/4” and 1” and I can say it did not disappoint. With a little more practice on my part I think we can get some super clean cuts. Even these turned out pretty nice for someone who hasn’t used a plasma cutter in 10 years. The photo at the end shows all three side by side.
