Slacking on the socials but the shops not slacking. Little update this week of some cool stuff going on.
2 Randy’s Transmissions put in, some turbo upgrades, Dan Vallance dual disk for an OBS ford getting the plug pulled.

2008 6.4 Powerstroke came in with a shredded serpentine belt. 🔧
After digging into it, we found the tensioner was the culprit. The belt didn’t just fail on its own, the worn tensioner caused it to track incorrectly and eventually shred.
Tensioner replaced, new belt on, and it’s back together. 💪

This truck came in for a coolant reservoir and an oil change but what we found during our inspection was much more important. ⚠️

The rear brakes had recently been serviced, and somehow the OLD BRAKE PAD was left wedged between the rotor and the dust shield. A serious safety hazard that could have ended very differently.

Then we moved to the front and found the passenger-side brake caliper wasn’t properly secured.

This is exactly why we take the time to thoroughly inspect every truck that comes through our shop even when it’s here for something simple.

Anyone can fix what’s obvious. We’re looking for what isn’t.

Because sometimes, the unseen can be deadly.

Shoutout to Logan Yates for finding this, and Ryan for getting the repair done.

Just an ambulance that can't get out of its own way because the DPF is extremely overloaded. 2 ambulances in a row now have had failed emissions equipment. But hey atleast the air quality is good 🙄 Kory Willis
