Buying a car? Well, You may want to wait until after the first Quarter of 2022 before you go purchase a new vehicle. Otherwise you may have to sacrifice some key features previously offered by dealers in the past. According to Cars.com, the computer chip shortage has really stirred up the automotive industry and the anticipation for it to stabilize even a little bit isn't looking like it will be any time this year. To improvise they have been putting vehicles on their lots missing some key components, such as Navigation systems, Active Fuel Management system from its full-size pickups, including the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, which resulted in a 1- or 2-mpg efficiency loss. So before you go to purchase a new vehicle you may want to do some research as to what you may be getting into.
