2026 Honda CBR650R E-Clutch

There is a reason the CBR650R has such a loyal following.

It's the combination of that 649cc inline-four, the full sportbike fairing, the sound, the riding position, and the way the whole motorcycle feels when you start getting into a good stretch of road.

Honda didn't mess with that formula.

The 2026 CBR650R still has the six-speed transmission, Showa SFF-BP fork, twin 310mm front discs with four-piston radial-mount calipers, and the unmistakable CBR look. The difference this time around is Honda E-Clutch, which gives you another way to manage the shifts while leaving the traditional clutch lever right where you'd expect it.

So underneath the new technology, it's still what people have always liked about this motorcycle.

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Friend & Friend!

We work hard. You work hard. And sometimes, all that hard work is what makes the good stuff possible.

That's one of the things I like about the XP 1000 Premium. It has enough muscle to handle the bigger jobs without making the everyday stuff feel like overkill. The 82-horsepower ProStar twin, 2,500 lb towing capacity, 1,000 lb dumping cargo box, 14 inches of ground clearance, and factory 4,500 lb winch give it plenty of capability when you need it.

Then there are the things you appreciate every time you use it, like high-output power steering, a roof, aluminum wheels, and full-coverage protection underneath.

2021 Yamaha XSR900

This is the XSR before Yamaha changed the recipe.

The 2021 still uses the 847cc CP3 triple, wrapped in the lighter, more retro-inspired package that made the XSR900 such a standout in Yamaha's lineup. It has the aluminum frame, adjustable suspension, radial-mount front brakes, and a riding position that gives you plenty of connection to that engine without making it an uncomfortable place to spend time.

And that's really what makes the XSR so good.

Three cylinders give it a completely different character than a typical parallel twin, while the styling makes it look like something you'd have parked in the garage even if you weren't planning on riding that day.

This one has 4,272 miles on it.

A little over four thousand miles on a motorcycle with this much personality sounds like a pretty good excuse to start putting some more on it.
