🚨Pest alert: Fall Armyworm moth counts have increased significantly in the area to 107 moths this week. Stay vigilant with early planted wheat or other small grains and alfalfa. This pest can cause issues in our crops, including later-developed sorghum, Brome, and early-planted cover crops or wheat. They can also be an issue in fescue lawns. https://entomology.k-state.edu/.../wheat/fallarmyworm.html
Contact Midway District Crop Production Agent Craig Dinkel with any questions regarding fall armyworm management. Call our offices, Ellsworth at 785-472-4442, Russell at 785-483-3157, email [email protected] See less

We understand the rapid fuel increases are putting a hurt in people's pockets. We are trying our best to be the cheapest in town and have so far been successful! We price by each bulk load we receive and don't have a lot of storage, thankfully Jason and crew at J New Trucking are keeping all fuels in our storage tank sometimes several bulk loads a day causing a price change several times a day. Each load we price and TRY to update on GasBuddy! Don't forget to check your local coop for great quality and hopefully cheapest fuel in town!

Help stop wheat streak mosaic virus before it starts. Terminate volunteer wheat within your region’s control window to break the wheat curl mite cycle and protect 2026 yields. Check the map for your dates and coordinate with neighbors for success. 🌾
