Check this before your next trip. Four digits on your tire sidewall. First two = week. Last two = year. If those tires are more than 5 years old, replace them. Period.

RV tires fail from age, not mileage. They sit in the sun for months and the rubber breaks down from the inside. Blowouts happen on tires that looked perfectly fine.

Check the code. Save the trip.

This refrigerator had been running warm for two months. Owner thought it was normal in the Georgia heat. It was not. The cooling unit was failing and if it had gone much longer, they would have been looking at a full replacement instead of a repair.

We pulled the unit and replaced the cooling unit.

Do not assume warm is normal. If your RV fridge is not holding temperature, something is wrong.

The original awning fabric was torn and sagging. The owner thought the whole awning needed replacing. Turned out the hardware was fine. We stripped the old fabric, measured, and installed a new material. Less than half the cost of a full replacement and looks brand new.

Not everything needs to be replaced. Sometimes it just needs someone who knows the difference.

RV owner tip: Run your generator under load for 30 minutes at least once a month, even when you are not camping. Generators that sit for months develop gummed-up carburetors from stale fuel. A twenty dollar bottle of fuel stabilizer now beats a four hundred dollar carb rebuild later.

I get these calls every summer from people who need their generator on a hot night at the campground and it will not start. Do not be that person.
