On Thursday Origin Coffee Bar hosted a pop-up in our cafeteria, serving up handcrafted beverages and specialty drinks for our Meta Pros.

We’re incredibly grateful to Origin for partnering with us to bring something fun and energizing to our workplace.

This is exactly the kind of experience our employees have been asking for, and we’re excited to deliver on it.

Supporting our team also means supporting our community.

Origin is just one of many local businesses we’ve partnered with to expand our cafeteria offerings while building meaningful connections with restaurants in our area.

📚Last week, HMGMA welcomed three science teachers from Bryan County Schools for an immersive, hands-on learning experience through the RISE Educator Externship program.

During their week at the Metaplant, the educators connected with team members across multiple departments, including Human Resources and Learning & Development, and shadowed key operations such as Equipment Maintenance and Quality.

Programs like RISE's Educator Externship help bridge the gap between the classroom and the workplace by giving educators firsthand insight into the skills, technologies, and career opportunities shaping today’s manufacturing industry.

The knowledge they gain can then be shared with students, helping prepare the next generation for future careers.

We are proud to participate in the RISE Educator Externship program for the second consecutive year and support workforce development in our community. 🍎🐛

Help Us Celebrate a New Chapter!

Today, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) and Kia America proudly celebrated the start of production for the Kia Sportage Hybrid, marking three exciting milestones for our plant: our first Kia model, our first hybrid electric vehicle, and the third vehicle built right here in Georgia.

This achievement is made possible by the dedication of our nearly 2,000 incredible Meta Pros.

The Sportage Hybrid joins our growing lineup alongside the award-winning Hyundai IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9, highlighting the strength and versatility of our advanced manufacturing capabilities. This is just the beginning, the Metaplant will continue to grow and power the future of mobility.

A heartfelt thank you to all our distinguished guests, including Gov. Brian Kemp and the First Lady, who joined to celebrate another milestone for Georgia's largest economic development project.

💙🤍Earlier this week, HMGMA hosted its inaugural Wellness Fair at the Metaplant, bringing together about a dozen health and wellness organizations and businesses dedicated to supporting our Meta Pros.

From valuable wellness resources to adorable puppies looking for snuggles and forever homes through onsite adoptions, the event was all about promoting health, happiness and community.

At HMGMA, the well-being of our employees is just as important as the award-winning vehicles we build every day.

🎈🎉Four years ago today, Hyundai Motor Group announced its agreement with the State of Georgia to build its first dedicated electrified‑vehicle plant in the United States.

Since then, we’ve welcomed nearly 2,000 employees—our Meta Pros—and launched production of the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9.

It’s remarkable to look back and see how much has been achieved in just four years.

None of this progress would have been possible without the support of our community, the State of Georgia, and the dedication of our Meta Pros.

Together, we are building the future of mobility.

✂🎀HMGMA was honored to join Wednesday’s ribbon cutting celebration for the new outdoor pavilion at the Statesboro Food Bank.

The pavilion was the community service project for the 2025–2026 Leadership Bulloch class, and we were proud to support their efforts to bring the project to life.

This new space will provide a covered area for food distribution, volunteer coordination and supply staging during times of high demand and disaster response.

This marks our second collaboration with Leadership Bulloch.

Last year, we partnered with the class to help build an adaptive playground in Statesboro, and we’re grateful for another opportunity to support projects that make a lasting impact in the community.

🌟Our Learning & Development team spent the week inspiring the next generation of innovators and future mobility leaders.

On Wednesday, the team visited Oglethorpe Charter School’s Career Fair, where students had the opportunity to explore our award-winning, fully electric Hyundai IONIQ 9 and learn more about the exciting career paths available at Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America.

Then on Thursday, we joined Isle of Hope’s STEM Night to help spark curiosity around science, technology, engineering and manufacturing careers.

From advanced robotics and EV production to the future of sustainable mobility, students got a glimpse into the innovative opportunities that could one day await them at the Metaplant.
