🔥 A Better Experience for Our Guests. A Bigger Opportunity for Our Teams. 🔥

As we continue planning the 11th Annual Jimmy Jam BBQ Slam & Car Show, one of the most important decisions we made was to limit the competition field to just 50 teams.

While we know many BBQ events focus on fitting in as many teams as possible, our goal has always been to create the best possible experience for both our competitors and the thousands of guests who attend each year.

With the addition of Rob Nolli's BMX Trickstars Stunt Show, the exciting return of the Disc Connected K9 High-Flying Dog Show, an expanded Classic Car & Off-Road Vehicle Showcase, over 80 local vendors, live music, Kids Fun Zone, Chili Tasting, BBQ People's Choice and more, we simply needed additional room to safely and comfortably accommodate everyone.

Reducing the field size allows us to: ✅ Improve traffic flow throughout the fairgrounds
✅ Create larger spectator viewing areas for attractions
✅ Expand family-friendly activities and entertainment
✅ Provide a better overall guest experience
✅ Give sponsors, vendors, and competition teams greater visibility

This decision was made with the long-term success of the event in mind. A stronger guest experience helps us grow attendance, increase exposure for our teams and sponsors, and ultimately raise more funds to support the mission of Jimmy Jam Community Outreach—providing a hand up, not a handout to local families facing financial hardship.
